Moroccan Night – Z’s Moroccan Martini
Last Sunday we had a Moroccan themed dinner of course, we needed a Moroccan cocktail to kick-off the evening while we waited for dinner. Not knowing of a good Moroccan cocktail I came up with this one, bringing forward the flavors of mint and rose. It was very enjoyable and a great cocktail to whet our appetites for the coming meal.
I recommend making this with Hendricks Gin. Different gins have their own flavor profiles and I think the subtle flavors and hint of rose and cucumber compliment the rosewater and mint nicely. That being said you can really use whichever gin you happen to have on hand.
